Aquilino Ponte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Peter Schmeichel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Vârnav in the 4th minute of play. Peter Schmeichel stood somewhat misplaced when Aquilino Ponte came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. After 8 played minutes Tornadele Siret got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Vermeşan. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Olimpiu Josan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Peter Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinu Vermeşan kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Medárd Horváth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ricardinho Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Tornadele Siret's goal looked a bit too open when Medárd Horváth came free, but Ricardinho Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Marin took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardinho Lopes. Ricardinho Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aquilino Ponte made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 30thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Peter Schmeichel would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Peter Schmeichel stood somewhat misplaced when Aquilino Ponte came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 30 minute. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL made a substitution. Marko Ruskov replaced Medárd Horváth. Aquilino Pontes short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Peter Schmeichel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Slawomir Winszman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tornadele Siret's zone, Hortêncio Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardinho Lopes came out of the goal and Hortêncio Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Vârnav in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Marko Ruskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tornadele Siret's Ricardinho Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Marin in the 47th minute of play. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hortêncio Coutinho in the 48th minute. It was a well-played corner which Narcis Răcănel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marko Ruskov to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Paulino Marin took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Ricardinho Lopes to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute Adam Vârnav shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Vârnav in the 61st minute of play forced GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Tornadele Siret's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Răcănel came free, but Ricardinho Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Aquilino Ponte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Peter Schmeichel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute Marko Ruskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Ponte in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Schmeichel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marko Ruskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Tornadele Siret's goalkeeper Ricardinho Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narcis Răcănel. Peter Schmeichel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Ponte's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Marko Ruskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Ponte in the 89th minute of the match. Peter Schmeichel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Ponte's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. If Paulino Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Tornadele Siret's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Ruskov came free, but Ricardinho Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardinho Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Ruskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Tornadele Siret's Aquilino Ponte in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalie prevented a goal. The Tornadele Siret players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
