The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. -BZF- Petrolul Berca:s Marioara Matei showed great skill when he stopped Sami Zübeyr:s penalty. Sami Zübeyr struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Marioara Matei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Maci -MM-. Tristan Falco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Alagoano in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Sabin Miclauș got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Basarab Stanciu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tristan Falco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 17th minute, Emanuel Petruescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Stoian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sami Zübeyr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marioara Matei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. FC Maci -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dieter Nisipeanu in the 21st minute. FC Maci -MM-'s Sabin Miclauș was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marioara Matei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 23 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Shi Jing Feng came free, but Tristan Falco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tristan Falco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Jing Feng in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Maci -MM- booed when -BZF- Petrolul Berca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhang Liang Liang didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Charalambos Vokolos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Sami Zübeyr who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Marioara Matei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes -BZF- Petrolul Berca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dieter Nisipeanu who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Dieter Nisipeanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Marioara Matei did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albertinho Alagoano during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Albertinho Alagoano got a free kick in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Jing Feng in the 40th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Marioara Matei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Petrolul Berca from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Sami Zübeyr made the kick off in the second half. Tristan Falco was a little too slow when Ronaldinho Marioara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 63rd minute, Sami Zübeyr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Maci -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Albertinho Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco got control of the ball when Albertinho Alagoano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Ronaldinho Marioara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Maci -MM-'s Emanuel Lasker was substituted for Rareș Ignea. The supporters of -BZF- Petrolul Berca booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Lasker didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Albertinho Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tristan Falco was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Marioara Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 92nd minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goal looked a bit too open when Sami Zübeyr came free, but Marioara Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Anatoly Karpov replaced Igor Czapski. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Maci -MM- fans cheered their team off the field, for while -BZF- Petrolul Berca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
