The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Codruț Gogu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Dunajski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Juventus Țiu defense, Nicolae Barbu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codruț Gogu. The Juventus Țiu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codruț Gogu should have stopped the shot. In the 12thth minute of the game Filip Paulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventus Țiu's Codruț Gogu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Marcu Bidulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus Țiu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Steaua Pildesti the free kick. After 26 minutes of play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Zygmunt Dunajski made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Codruț Gogu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the game, FC Steaua Pildesti's Constantin Deșliu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codruț Gogu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Marcu Bidulescu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Codruț Gogu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Barbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Filip Paulescu succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Juventus Țiu's Codruț Gogu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Paulescu in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Filip Paulescu made a precise shot to the right of Codruț Gogu. Juventus Țiu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 44th minute, Constantin Deșliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Zygmunt Dunajski made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Lucian Stere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Gogu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codruț Gogu stood somewhat misplaced when Zygmunt Dunajski came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 53 minute. In the 56th minute of the match, Nicolae Barbu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Codruț Gogu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zygmunt Dunajski took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codruț Gogu. Codruț Gogu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Codruț Gogu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Dunajski in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Juventus Țiu's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Barbu came free, but Codruț Gogu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Ilie Voica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Nicolae Barbu notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Juventus Țiu's Codruț Gogu. Codruț Gogu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Steaua Pildesti were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Juventus Țiu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zygmunt Dunajski took the corner. The corner led FC Steaua Pildesti's Zygmunt Dunajski to fire away a dangerous shot which Codruț Gogu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Nicolae Barbu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codruț Gogu. Juventus Țiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolae Barbu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. In the 81st minute Victor Uzuneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Văduvescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Victor Uzuneanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-11. Marian Văduvescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Juventus Țiu defense, Filip Paulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codruț Gogu. The Juventus Țiu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codruț Gogu should have stopped the shot. When Filip Paulescu came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Steaua Pildesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Paulescu couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Juventus Țiu's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Paulescu came free, but Codruț Gogu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juventus Țiu's Codruț Gogu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Țiu from getting a goal against them.
