Codruț Gogu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 30th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Boteanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Juventus Țiu booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Ignea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Mihele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Kramnik having to interfere. Juventus Țiu's Codruț Gogu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sami Zübeyr in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codruț Gogu saved Juventus Țiu from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codruț Gogu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Sabin Miclauș might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Codruț Gogu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sabin Miclauș ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the game, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codruț Gogu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Anatoly Karpov replaced Igor Czapski. FC Maci -MM- walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
