Damian Macovei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shen Xi Bang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Alexandru Tudorică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Macovei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Manole Frunză made a precise shot to the right of Damian Macovei. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 19 minutes, Manole Frunză made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Damian Macovei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iona Tudora lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 24th match minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iona Tudora to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Caballero came free, but Damian Macovei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes, Irinel Borăscu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Valea Buzăului and the Rovine Craiova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damian Macovei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shen Xi Bang in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Jyrki Saarelainen came free, but Damian Macovei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kacper Štilić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Damian Macovei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandru Tudorică took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Macovei. Damian Macovei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manole Frunză stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Manole Frunză dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Damian Macovei, 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Călin Itoafă in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Negara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Tudora in the 57th minute of play. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Damian Macovei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jyrki Saarelainen in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Rovine Craiova getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Nicolae Tilihoi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Tudorică in the 74th minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Damian Macovei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Damian Macovei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shen Xi Bang in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Marcu Vârjean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Macovei. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcu Vârjean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 82nd minute, Rovine Craiova's Shen Xi Bang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damian Macovei. Damian Macovei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Rovine Craiova's Jyrki Saarelainen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Damian Macovei. That made the score 0-9 after 86 minutes of play. Damian Macovei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shen Xi Bang in the 89th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Manole Frunză put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Damian Macovei. 93 minutes into the match, Rovine Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Tudora came free, but Victor Negara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rovine Craiova's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
