Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sami Zübeyr started the match with the kick off. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cai Yue Guang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute Sami Zübeyr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cai Yue Guang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Ellow. A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Martin Costeiantu hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Manuel Isăilă notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik. Vladimir Kramnik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Costeiantu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Isăilă in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Kramnik saved FC Maci -MM- from getting behind. In the 25th minute Manuel Isăilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Kramnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manuel Isăilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ninjas in Pyjamas's Manuel Isăilă in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Maci -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Ninjas in Pyjamas's attentive Pastor Ellow managed to snatch the ball when Martin Costeiantu made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Vladimir Kramnik threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manuel Isăilă, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

56 minutes into the game, Martin Costeiantu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Pastor Ellow quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Rareș Tatulici got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vladimir Kramnik quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 65 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Isăilă came free, but Vladimir Kramnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ninjas in Pyjamas were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after FC Maci -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rareș Tatulici took the corner. 70 minutes into the game, Manuel Isăilă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vladimir Kramnik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Hector Morientes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dieter Nisipeanu in the 85 minute of the game. Vladimir Kramnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Isăilă in the 90th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sami Zübeyr to maneuver through the defense. Vladimir Kramnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Isăilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ninjas in Pyjamas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
