But to his dismay, Lucio Eladio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Barça Salvadoreño FC's Wang Di Hai got a free kick in the 29th minute. Paradorn Todor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Centurión, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odir Bautista came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stéphane Brault could save by the left post. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Stéphane Brault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urdaspal Monterros in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goalkeeper Stéphane Brault had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Feliz. With a little luck, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Stéphane Brault got control of the ball when Jimeno Feliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 minutes, Salvadore Dinha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barça Salvadoreño FC and the Pepsi Fuchibol Clu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucio Eladio made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Jimeno Feliz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Stéphane Brault. Stéphane Brault was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barça Salvadoreño FC's Maggi Gonzáles was substituted for Jimeno Feliz. 64 minutes into the match, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goal looked a bit too open when Maggi Gonzáles came free, but Stéphane Brault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Barça Salvadoreño FC's Wang Di Hai, in the 68th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Barça Salvadoreño FC. Maggi Gonzáles scored 3-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stéphane Brault, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paradorn Todor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Eladio in the 77th minute of the match. When Barça Salvadoreño FC's Maggi Gonzáles in 81 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Stéphane Brault guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 81 minutes, Maggi Gonzáles made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Stéphane Brault tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Domingo Abadie seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Domingo Abadie the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pepsi Fuchibol Clu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Domingo Abadie had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a defensive mix-up in Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's zone, Fatbardh Malko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stéphane Brault came out of the goal and Fatbardh Malko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paradorn Todor was a little too slow when Ramon Centurión got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 4-3. Stéphane Brault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Bremke in the 93rd minute of play.
