Chuquisaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo de San Blás the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Werner Colvin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flamengo de San Blás's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Werner Colvin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Gabriel Chavez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Totín Garcia De Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chuquisaca booed when Flamengo de San Blás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Werner Colvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Agurto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flamengo de San Blás's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
