The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ariel Vidal was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Villalaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Geronimo Rulli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Laércio de Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dadhyan Rudrappa having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Geronimo Rulli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
