In the 9thth minute of the game Pedro Villalaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Empate's Kristoffer Martinsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nickolai Skivild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadhyan Rudrappa having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, ORION F.C.'s Pedro Villalaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristoffer Martinsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kristoffer Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Villalaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Deportivo Empate's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Villalaz came free, but Kristoffer Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ORION F.C.'s Dadhyan Rudrappa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Wiman in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Pedro Villalaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute Janich Chayawi suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Orozco during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ORION F.C. getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Felipe Orozco hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Villalaz made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Empate's Benet Hierro got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Deportivo Empate got a freekick which was hit by Benet Hierro. Samuele Neustadt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Felipe Orozco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Empate's Kristoffer Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Villalaz in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind ORION F.C.'s goalkeeper Dadhyan Rudrappa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Pedro Villalaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Luis Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Empate's James Abeijon got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of ORION F.C. booed when Deportivo Empate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Abeijon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th match minute, ORION F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Orozco to maneuver through the defense. The ORION F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
