After a rather tough play, Green Squad FC's Conrado Pernambucano got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rdth minute of the game Aquiles Urtsin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Darwin Núñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamim Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Bayan Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Darwin Núñez scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilvan Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Urtsin. Aquiles Urtsins short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Gilvan Sanches to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 19 minutes Green Squad FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ediberto Sampaio who took care of the corner kick. In the 26thth minute of the game Jessie Pinkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bayan Gugovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Antunes in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Maxi Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilvan Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darwin Núñez in the 31st minute. Gilvan Sanches was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Darwin Núñez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Darwin Núñez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tadeu Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Squad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeu Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayan Gugovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darwin Núñez got free with Gilvan Sanches in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes Green Squad FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ediberto Sampaio who took care of the corner kick. Edelmiro Quintyn was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 41st minute, Raimundo Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilvan Sanches was a little too slow when Aquiles Urtsin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jessie Pinkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Sampaio in the 54th minute of play. Ediberto Sampaio scored 5-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilvan Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jessie Pinkman in the 59th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Bayan Gugovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulisses Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Darwin Núñez scored 6-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilvan Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Green Squad FC's zone, Darwin Núñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilvan Sanches came out of the goal and Darwin Núñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jessie Pinkman's late challenge caught a Merengue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jessie Pinkman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jessie Pinkman hit a great ball. Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 72nd minute of play. Ediberto Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gilvan Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aquiles Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilvan Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Urtsin in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when Green Squad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darwin Núñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gilvan Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Gonsalvo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilvan Sanches. Green Squad FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Tadeu Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
