After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Anfilogino Sasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC SOLOTHURN's supporters rose to their feet, but Anfilogino Sasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justino Rosio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Sasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Justino Rosio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the match, Los once leones's goalkeeper Justino Rosio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panait Stolniciu. Anfilogino Sasso did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Justino Rosio 14 minutes into the match. A hard shot 14 in the game by Anfilogino Sasso from a close distance when the talented Justino Rosio managed to make a qualified save. Los once leones's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panait Stolniciu got free with Justino Rosio in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the game, Anselmo Dodorol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los once leones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SOLOTHURN the free kick. In the 20th minute, one of Los once leones:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los once leones. 3-0 came through a penalty shot after 22 played minutes, when FC SOLOTHURN:s Panait Stolniciu calmly waited for Los once leones:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. A hard shot 24 in the game by Anfilogino Sasso from a close distance when the talented Justino Rosio managed to make a qualified save. Los once leones's players were relieved. Los once leones's Justino Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Madruga in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Jacob Madruga made a precise shot to the right of Justino Rosio. Los once leones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 32 played minutes FC SOLOTHURN got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Berardi. Anfilogino Sasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justino Rosio made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Anfilogino Sasso sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Los once leones booed when FC SOLOTHURN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Stolniciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Macedo having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC SOLOTHURN's goalkeeper Josué Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anfilogino Sasso in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Rosio saved Los once leones from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franciszek Wojtkiewicz to make the kick off. Jacob Madruga kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Justino Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Sasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Sindo's late challenge caught a FC SOLOTHURN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Sindo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Los once leones getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Salvador Sindo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Sasso in the 55th minute of play forced Los once leones's goalkeeper Justino Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Asteri got free with Josué Macedo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC SOLOTHURN getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Corrado Berardi hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anfilogino Sasso in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justino Rosio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anfilogino Sasso in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Rosio saved Los once leones from getting behind. FC SOLOTHURN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Panait Stolniciu in the 69th minute. Panait Stolniciu made a great header on FC SOLOTHURN's corner, it was just that Los once leones's Justino Rosio managed to reach the ball for a save. Josué Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Figueroa in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, FC SOLOTHURN's Anfilogino Sasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Rosio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC SOLOTHURN's Panait Stolniciu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los once leones. Justino Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Hagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nunez Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes of play, FC SOLOTHURN's Anfilogino Sasso made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justino Rosio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Franciszek Wojtkiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC SOLOTHURN fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los once leones had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
