In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aldo Bilintx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Eneko, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Tadeu Cosme hit a great ball. Gilvan Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Gun in the 10th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Betadur during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Green Squad FC made a substitution. Enrique Pinheiro replaced Ulisses Antunes. A collision led to San Lorenzo 11 getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Martin Betadur hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Conrado Pernambucano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Bilintx showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 15 played minutes Green Squad FC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Pinheiro. Jessie Pinkman came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aldo Bilintx could save by the left post. Green Squad FC were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after San Lorenzo 11's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conrado Pernambucano took the corner. The corner led Green Squad FC's Taio Jauregui to fire away a dangerous shot which Aldo Bilintx despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Severino Eneko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Sanches having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jessie Pinkman got free with Aldo Bilintx in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Gun in the 28th minute of play forced Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Eneko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilvan Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Eneko in the 39th minute of play. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Gun, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Tadeu Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jessie Pinkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. San Lorenzo 11's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Betadur in the 54th minute. The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when San Lorenzo 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Betadur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeu Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Bilintx having to interfere. Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Gun in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute of the game, Tommy Gun landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Lucas Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Green Squad FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Severino Eneko scored to the left of an out of position Gilvan Sanches, making the score, 1-2. Aldo Bilintx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jessie Pinkman went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute Placido Gartzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes, Enrique Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Squad FC and the San Lorenzo 11 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilvan Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Eneko in the 95th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
