Alfonso Ugarte's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ulisses Antunes took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Zdrobiş. Nistor Zdrobiş dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Renaldo Argüelles hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Alfonso Ugarte's Nistor Zdrobiş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Cosme in the 14th minute of play. Nistor Zdrobiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Cosme in the 15th minute of play. Nistor Zdrobiş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Cosme in the 15th minute of the match. Antonio Benavente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Gilvan Sanches made a huge save. Alfonso Ugarte's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mikele Giurcă in the 18th minute. Alfonso Ugarte's Mikele Giurcă was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilvan Sanches in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antonio Benavente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilvan Sanches having to make a save. In the 33rd match minute, Green Squad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Rivas to maneuver through the defense. Bernt Van den Dries hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Conrado Pernambucano hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when Alfonso Ugarte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Sallas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilvan Sanches made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Bernt Van den Dries sent off a good shot on target. Nistor Zdrobiş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 59th minute, Tadeu Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Alfonso Ugarte's zone, Jessie Pinkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Zdrobiş came out of the goal and Jessie Pinkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernt Van den Dries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Ugarte's Nistor Zdrobiş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Cosme in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tadeu Cosme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nistor Zdrobiş was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Gonçalo Maia struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Nistor Zdrobiş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Nistor Zdrobiş was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Conrado Pernambucano. Alfonso Ugarte's Nistor Zdrobiş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Alfonso Ugarte from getting a goal against them.
