Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jailson Capixaba kicked off to start the match. Hermengildo Claude made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Jailson Capixaba sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the match, Lawrence Smoothy notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Botafogo MZRJ's José Vítor Netto. José Vítor Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Botafogo MZRJ's José Vítor Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio-Roman Ronaldinho in the 11th minute of play. José Vítor Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio-Roman Ronaldinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Botafogo MZRJ's Alberto Novaes got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Botafogo MZRJ's zone, Fabio-Roman Ronaldinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Vítor Netto came out of the goal and Fabio-Roman Ronaldinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mazinho Hult struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. José Vítor Netto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miramar Is Back. In the 25th minute Isaltino Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Fabio-Roman Ronaldinho made a precise shot to the right of José Vítor Netto. Botafogo MZRJ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 34 minutes into the game, Fabio-Roman Ronaldinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. José Vítor Netto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute of the game Rai Cando made a throw-in which Blas Venceslas played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Hult in the 46th minute of play forced Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper José Vítor Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Miramar Is Back were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fabio-Roman Ronaldinho made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Botafogo MZRJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. José Vítor Netto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabio-Roman Ronaldinho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 58 minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Botafogo MZRJ's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Hult came free, but José Vítor Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Botafogo MZRJ's José Vítor Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Hult in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Mazinho Hult made a precise shot to the right of José Vítor Netto. Botafogo MZRJ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. After 79 played minutes Botafogo MZRJ got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Amaral. After 84 minutes of play, Botafogo MZRJ's Gilmar Couto made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermengildo Claude was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper José Vítor Netto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio-Roman Ronaldinho. José Vítor Netto came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Miramar Is Back's Lawrence Smoothy. But to his dismay, Lawrence Smoothy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Mazinho Hult fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Netto having to interfere. The Botafogo MZRJ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Miramar Is Back were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
