With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulisses Antunes in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Eliasson saved Gnesta Oilers from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonçalo Maia got free with Patrick Eliasson in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Ove Söderström to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Söderström came free, but Gilvan Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jessie Pinkman in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Conrado Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gnesta Oilers's Patrick Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jessie Pinkman in the 88th minute of play. Patrick Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Cosme in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jessie Pinkman in the 92nd minute of play forced Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Patrick Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Green Squad FC fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Green Squad FC's Tadeu Cosme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Green Squad FC were the better team. Green Squad FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
