Marco Amaral was slow to take the kick. During this time Śląsk Katowice's players had a chance to rest. Wieslaw Fink hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A hard shot 13 in the game by Abe Habenicht from a close distance when the talented Mariusz Pochorylo managed to make a qualified save. Antoni Walaszkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Greenpi. After 39 minutes, Dong Ping made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Śląsk Katowice's Antoni Walaszkiewicz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, KS Greenpi's Mariusz Pochorylo got control of the ball when Abe Habenicht tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teofil Rzegotka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariusz Pochorylo was relentless in the 60th minute of the game.
