San Lorenzo 11's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Thanks to some nice moves Abelardo Balasi could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Dadá Martinez however easily saved by the left post. Los once leones's Dadá Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Los once leones from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Claudio Bucciarelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo 11's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Bucciarelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dadá Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute San Lorenzo 11 were awarded a corner. Hudson Abreu went to the cornerflag to take it. Claudio Bucciarelli struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Dadá Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo 11. Dadá Martinez came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo 11's Ambrosio Mendiko. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Mendiko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Izydor Klawke during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Los once leones getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Izydor Klawke hit a great ball.
