The crowd rose to their feet as Avelgem ad. Schelde's Benedict Peeters slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Galip Öveç. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. Niek Molhoek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Son Son in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Lorenzo Odol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Fabry came free, but Galip Öveç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galip Öveç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedict Peeters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeroen Maenhout struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute.
