Anfilogino Sasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Antoni Walaszkiewicz made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Antoni Walaszkiewicz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Madruga in the 28th minute of play forced Śląsk Katowice's goalkeeper Antoni Walaszkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match FC SOLOTHURN got a corner. Śląsk Katowice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Panait Stolniciu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Teofil Rzegotka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Josué Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, FC SOLOTHURN's Anfilogino Sasso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antoni Walaszkiewicz. Antoni Walaszkiewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, FC SOLOTHURN's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Matuch came free, but Josué Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josué Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Rzegotka in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Teofil Rzegotka made the kick off in the second half. Achille Ciolli kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. FC SOLOTHURN's Josué Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Amaral in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, FC SOLOTHURN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teofil Rzegotka fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Antoni Walaszkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Madruga in the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Anfilogino Sasso notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Śląsk Katowice's Antoni Walaszkiewicz. Antoni Walaszkiewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Śląsk Katowice defense, Jacob Madruga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antoni Walaszkiewicz. The Śląsk Katowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antoni Walaszkiewicz should have stopped the shot. In the 68thth minute of the game Anfilogino Sasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Śląsk Katowice's Antoni Walaszkiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wit Matuch got free with Josué Macedo in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antoni Walaszkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Stolniciu in the 75th minute of the match. Śląsk Katowice's Adelino Salgado was substituted for Abe Habenicht. Marek Bronicki's late challenge caught a FC SOLOTHURN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marek Bronicki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Śląsk Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Bronicki to maneuver through the defense. Śląsk Katowice's Antoni Walaszkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Sasso in the 84th minute of play. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
