With an all-out effort, Korona Kielce's Ter Stegen threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcin Kaczmarek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcin Kaczmarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ter Stegen made a huge save. Raimo Ülend took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey Molloy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niculae Biriș hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Torrey Molloy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimo Ülend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Korona Kielce fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigan Frankson in the 34th minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Korona Kielce's Raimo Ülend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigan Frankson in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute of the match, Rigan Frankson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Raimo Ülend saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Nicolae Dobrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudy Lukas made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mack Willson however managed to control. The supporters of Korona Kielce booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold McDecland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudy Lukas made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mack Willson immediately put the ball in play. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Lilleeng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute of the match Korona Kielce got a corner. 1948 MKS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ray Atkins ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ivar Lilleeng made a great header on Korona Kielce's corner, it was just that 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen managed to reach the ball for a save. Ivar Lilleeng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ter Stegen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Art 许褚 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ter Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
