The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Burhanettin Öğüç hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, Erhan Sidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Paolo Aresti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute Ahmet Ozan Çanak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Semi Akdoruk hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Catarina FC's zone, Hikmet Osmanoğulları stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Aresti came out of the goal and Hikmet Osmanoğulları tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Aresti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hikmet Osmanoğulları in the 25th minute of the match. Fernando Burutzagi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Hikmet Osmanoğulları who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Catarina FC's Paolo Aresti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Selatse's late challenge caught a Serdaroglu SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Selatse helped the player get up and apologised. Benito Selatse hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Serdaroglu SK's Hikmet Osmanoğulları in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Catarina FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mustafa Hamit Keskiner kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Erhan Sidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serdaroglu SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erhan Sidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Aresti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The corner ended in Faustino Urbasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Serdaroglu SK's Victor Favila did a great save. The supporters of Santa Catarina FC booed when Serdaroglu SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Hamit Keskiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fernando Burutzagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Anastasio Leocadio in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Serdaroglu SK's Mustafa Hamit Keskiner. Bahadır Tunçkurt hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Erhan Sidal took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paolo Aresti. Paolo Aresti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Serdaroglu SK's Victor Favila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Serdaroglu SK from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute of the game Nuri Tuncal made a throw-in which Bahadır Tunçkurt played forward. Paolo Aresti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serdaroglu SK. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Serdaroglu SK had played much better football throughout.
