Sálvio Amaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Yefymenko in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Oleg Nagirnyak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sálvio Amaro. Oleg Nagirnyak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Sálvio Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Yefymenko in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Oleg Nagirnyak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirovhrad FC Shakhtar's supporters rose to their feet, but Oleg Nagirnyak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sálvio Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 minutes, Jorge Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. After 59 minutes, Virgílio Ferro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REAL MADRID and the Kirovhrad FC Shakhtar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kirovhrad FC Shakhtar's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
