The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Duarte Quintal hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Tony Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier Gilg in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Ramón Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tony Dias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tony Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivier Gilg in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Carrapichel - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Gilg came free, but Tony Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Délio Furtado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Tony Dias came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Ramón Furtado. But to his dismay, Ramón Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 18th minute, Ramón Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Tony Dias. Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 26 minutes into the game, Ramón Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Tony Dias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 30 minutes of play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Ramón Furtado made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Tony Dias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tony Dias came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg. But to his dismay, Olivier Gilg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. After 39 minutes of play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Ramón Furtado made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Délio Furtado hit a great ball. DIPLOMATA FC PAB made a substitution. Kenny Rothwell replaced Rodrigo Cisterna. Délio Furtado hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half DIPLOMATA FC PAB were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olivier Gilg made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramón Furtado during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Ramón Furtado hit a great ball. Olivier Gilg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Dias having to make a save. 55 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tony Dias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olivier Gilg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 57 minute of play. Tony Dias was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Olivier Gilg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olivier Gilg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. In the 65th minute, Olivier Gilg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tony Dias. The goal made the score 0-12. Tony Dias was a little too slow when Olivier Gilg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-13. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Tony Dias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tony Dias came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg. But to his dismay, Olivier Gilg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. The supporters of Carrapichel - FDFDF booed when DIPLOMATA FC PAB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Song Xiong Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olivier Gilg might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tony Dias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olivier Gilg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute Olivier Gilg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Song Xiong Hong took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Dias. Tony Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-15. In the 87th minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tony Dias. Tony Dias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-16. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Tony Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Carrapichel - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. The Carrapichel - FDFDF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DIPLOMATA FC PAB were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
