With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Pablo Ermengol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gianluigi Buffon. The goal made the score 4-0. Mai Bin Kuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluigi Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. When Marcos Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apocalipse FC's protests and gave Marcos Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Primatas FC had played much better football throughout.
