Cristian Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atacan Rahim in the 9th minute of play. Jerônimo da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo de Sousa in the 13th minute of the match. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Jerônimo da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Toral in the 21st minute of play. When Anselmo Campidelis fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jung 1972's protests and gave Anselmo Campidelis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jung 1972's Anselmo Campidelis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cristian Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atacan Rahim, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jung 1972's goalkeeper Cristian Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Fri Spel managed to work through Jung 1972's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Fri Spel dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 97th minute, Décio Rola made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Gomes. Jung 1972's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Elite™- FC Galácticos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jung 1972 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
