When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel-Omar Batista to make the kick off. If Aaden Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maximiliano Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaden Hutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Nicolas Salomon made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gabriel-Omar Batista. Arsenio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Falcão Botelho was substituted for Nicolas Salomon. Maximiliano Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaden Hutton in the 88th minute of play. If Gabriel-Omar Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute.
