Jacek Ankiewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the game, Alfred Pawelczyk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Amado Jordão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gilberto Nayely came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Punk Fiction fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Nayely couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Pawelczyk in the 31st minute of play forced Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Amado Jordão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Jordão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Pawelczyk in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Raul Abadia got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Nayely to make the kick off. Cura del Futbol's Jiang Lei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Cura del Futbol from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Ladislao Calisto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jiang Lei made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Gilberto Nayely sent off a good shot on target. Cesar Lain hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Gilberto Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Lei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Jiang Lei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Nayely. Alfred Pawelczyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amado Jordão having to make a save.
