After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Peter Crouch managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZORZAL01's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Crouch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Cordeal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Crouch in the 22nd minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 played minutes ZORZAL01 got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Quilino. Arsenio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Crouch, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 46 minutes of play, ZORZAL01's Peter Crouch made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arsenio Cordeal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half ZORZAL01 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Crouch to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Pavel Nedvěd got a free kick in the 57th minute.
