In the 2nd minute, Dobromir Prokowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Aldao's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Prokowski came free, but Tim Zeigler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Moise in the 9th minute of play forced Aldao's goalkeeper Tim Zeigler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Aldao defense, Edelmiro Moise kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Zeigler. The Aldao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Zeigler should have stopped the shot. Guido Felo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Dobromir Prokowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Tim Zeigler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Aldao's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dedê Donatello took the corner. In the 24th minute, Prudencio Goiz made a precise shot to the right of Tim Zeigler. Aldao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Tim Zeigler came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Prudencio Goiz. But to his dismay, Prudencio Goiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 32 minutes into the game, Prudencio Goiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Tim Zeigler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tim Zeigler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Goiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ booed when Aldao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Baladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Prudencio Goiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Zeigler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Guido Felo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Goiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Zeigler having to interfere. After the first half ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Prudencio Goiz made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Guido Felo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aldao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Aldao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Felo to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Goiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Zeigler having to make a save. Prudencio Goiz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tim Zeigler firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tim Zeigler stood somewhat misplaced when Prudencio Goiz came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 62 minute. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Ezequiel Lavezzi replaced Dobromir Prokowski. The throw-in from Mario Ibon in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Guaberto Lertxun. After 78 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Diamant. After some careless play in the Aldao defense, Saturnino Romo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Zeigler. The Aldao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Zeigler should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Romo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim Zeigler saved Aldao from getting behind. Saul Nesto's late challenge caught a ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Nesto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ booed when Aldao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Nesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Romo got free with Tim Zeigler in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Luis Javier Fenieux fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aldao's protests and gave Luis Javier Fenieux a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elberg As got free with Tim Zeigler in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Aldao supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s performance. The match ended with a win for ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆.
