In the 10th minute Carlitos Tevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Fan Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Carlitos Tevez came free, but Qin Fan Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Crouch in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slawomir Michalski saved Stone City from getting behind. Slawomir Michalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Crouch in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute ZORZAL01 were awarded a corner. Pavel Nedvěd went to the cornerflag to take it. Slawomir Michalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Crouch in the 18th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Carlitos Tevez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stone City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlitos Tevez in the 37th minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Sete made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marcelo Fero. Qin Fan Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Fero in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerhart Blegsø during the 41st minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aras Görkem Özbey was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlitos Tevez in the 56th managed to get into a good position.
