Oylimpiamos Ψ were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Forever Tango's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rik Quexada took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Selatse Cantillo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Giraldo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 10th minute Robustiano Peruanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Juan Raúl Amuchástegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Bachicabo in the 19th minute of play. Selatse Cantillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Juan Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cordario Pierredonda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Giraldo having to interfere. Juan Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzhan Fişek, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Oylimpiamos Ψ got a corner. Forever Tango's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rik Quexada ran over to the corner to take the kick. Oğuzhan Fişek made a great header on Oylimpiamos Ψ's corner, it was just that Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo managed to reach the ball for a save. Koen Rijmenams made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Raúl Amuchástegui in the 34th minute of play. Koen Rijmenams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Rik Quexada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Modesto Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koen Rijmenams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Marcones in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Koen Rijmenams saved Oylimpiamos Ψ from getting behind. Laureano Eneko hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Laureano Eneko kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Forever Tango's Elias Manilan was substituted for Juan Raúl Amuchástegui. In the 67th match minute, Forever Tango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Eneko to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Selatse Cantillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oylimpiamos Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Selatse Cantillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Giraldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
