Rigoberto Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Arotza in the 10th minute of play. Edgardo Txurio hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper Rigoberto Mancio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Arotza. In the 18th match minute, Reconquistense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Arotza to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Mancio made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Elvio Gines sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd match minute, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Vedillo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Reconquistense FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Elvio Gines hit a great ball. Reynaldo Argi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Sarracino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Isaias Baladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Reconquistense FC booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Vedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Isaias Baladi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Argi was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Baladi in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Argi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Reconquistense FC defense, Ubaldo Vedillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Argi. The Reconquistense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Argi should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Baladi in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Argi saved Reconquistense FC from getting behind. Reynaldo Argi came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Isaias Baladi. But to his dismay, Isaias Baladi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzalo Arotza was the one to do the kick off. Orlando Fernendo lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Reconquistense FC a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roberto Fernado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Rigoberto Mancio. 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Sarracino got free with Reynaldo Argi in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Gines in the 64th minute of play forced Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper Rigoberto Mancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Fernado kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Reconquistense FC's zone, Isaias Baladi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Argi came out of the goal and Isaias Baladi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Isaias Baladi 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. In the 85th minute, Ubaldo Vedillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Rigoberto Mancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Gines in the 86th minute of play. Isaias Baladi succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-6. A hard shot by Vinicio Reyes from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Reynaldo Argi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Reconquistense FC's Reynaldo Argi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Reconquistense FC from getting a goal against them. Eleuterio Sarracino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Argi made a huge save. In the 98th minute, Eleuterio Sarracino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reconquistense FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 100th minute, when Isaias Baladi scored to the left of an out of position Reynaldo Argi, making the score, 1-7. Chants of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Reconquistense FC had held the ball for most of the match.
