Jorge Sabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ongile having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Sanduru in the 13th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Narciso Rumaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Rumaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Sanduru in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Gavino Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Aragones's late challenge caught a Reconquistense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Aragones helped the player get up and apologised. Eulalio Aragones hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Isaac Asur charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Asur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Isaac Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Reconquistense FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Umea. If Federico Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Ongile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Velasco went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Martin Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Lon in the 33rd minute of the match. Martin Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Dante Lon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dante Lon to make the kick off. Martin Ongile made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Dante Lon sent off a good shot on target. When Anastasio Transito fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reconquistense FC's protests and gave Anastasio Transito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Reconquistense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Transito to maneuver through the defense. If Federico Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gavino Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reconquistense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 86th minute, Dante Lon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Sanduru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Narciso Rumaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Reconquistense FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Reconquistense FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
