After having played for 5 minutes, Natalio Orzaize managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacerola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Orzaize was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Cacerola getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sergio Lekubegi hit a great ball. Guillermo Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Valverde in the 9th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Jacobo Dodorol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacerola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.S.D Punta Ballena the free kick. Cacerola's Guillermo Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piearres Samperio in the 14th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Cacerola got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Faro. Guillermo Paz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piearres Samperio in the 20th minute. Carolo Viya kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Cacerola's Uriel Formerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bartoli Navagos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 25th minute Uriel Formerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartoli Navagos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Formerio took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartoli Navagos. Bartoli Navagos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The audience was convinced that Nevada Chapital's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Paz was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Guillermo Paz made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Federico Valverde sent off a good shot on target. Guillermo Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Valverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Valverde got free with Guillermo Paz in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th match minute, Cacerola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Faro to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Valverde in the 52nd minute of play forced Cacerola's goalkeeper Guillermo Paz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Paz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Valverde went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Herminio Faro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cacerola's Herminio Faro got a free kick in the 57th minute. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Elivareo Monta was substituted for Carolo Viya. Piearres Samperio fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 59th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. 61 minutes into the game, Nevada Chapital cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Guillermo Paz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillermo Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nevada Chapital, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Valverde in the 66th minute of play forced Cacerola's goalkeeper Guillermo Paz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Nevada Chapital got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Piearres Samperio got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Cacerola defense, Elivareo Monta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Paz. The Cacerola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Paz should have stopped the shot. Guillermo Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nevada Chapital, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the C.S.D Punta Ballena players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
