The supporters of Xeneizes booed when River tu grato nombre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Thomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucca Langoni in the 27th minute of play forced River tu grato nombre's goalkeeper Miles Forbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xeneizes's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Cordarin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miles Forbes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Eusebio Cordarin made the kick off in the second half. Calvin Brand kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Arsenio Gorbea notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of River tu grato nombre's Miles Forbes. A wasted opportunity for Xeneizes. 95 minutes into the match, Bradley Cody had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Batista. Xeneizes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bradley Cody was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Xeneizes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for River tu grato nombre.
