Calvin Brand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, River tu grato nombre's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Lon came free, but Miles Forbes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Rumaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kraig Blevins's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Calvin Brand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Narciso Rumaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeff Randall during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miles Forbes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Asur went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Narciso Rumaldo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when River tu grato nombre's Kraig Blevins shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 28 minutes, Kraig Blevins made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Reconquistense FC's Narciso Rumaldo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Asur to make the kick off. River tu grato nombre's Miles Forbes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Umea in the 52nd minute of play. Miles Forbes came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Reconquistense FC's Gavino Velasco. But to his dismay, Gavino Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Miles Forbes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Asur in the 68th minute of the match. Calvin Brand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Rumaldo having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Jesus Paublo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reconquistense FC and the River tu grato nombre players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Velasco in the 83rd minute of play forced River tu grato nombre's goalkeeper Miles Forbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Rumaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Cody in the 88th minute of play.
