Narciso Rumaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Corrado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Romulo Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Sabino's late challenge caught a Defensores del Tiki Tiki's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Sabino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute of the match Marvin Mars shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Rumaldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eliseo Elija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Velasco in the 31st minute of the match. Jorge Sabino was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 43 played minutes Reconquistense FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sabino. In the 44th minute of the match Marvin Mars sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Rumaldo skillfully saved the ball. Elvio Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Rumaldo having to interfere. The Reconquistense FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Defensores del Tiki Tiki were winning 0-2.

Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Lino Selmo was substituted for Erasmo Beti.
