Augusto Alfonso ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Reconquistense FC's corner Tomás Raphael fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iraido Bertiz quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fohat Neyen's Iruinea Llordes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Piara Tittarelli. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Seme in the 30th minute of play forced Fohat Neyen's goalkeeper Iraido Bertiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustacio Medina in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iraido Bertiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Widberg got free with Piara Tittarelli in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fohat Neyen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Rune Widberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
