Stacey Banning blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Oinatz having to make a save. River tu grato nombre's Stacey Banning got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca defense, Stacey Banning kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inocencio Oinatz. The Olimpo de Bahia Blanca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inocencio Oinatz should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Cristo Hondo with Liam Bray as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 21st minute, Stacey Banning left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River tu grato nombre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Bruno Belarmo made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by River tu grato nombre's Porter Mansfield. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Inocencio Oinatz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The throw-in from Graig Bacon in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Luisito Nesor. In the 41stth minute of the game Stacey Banning who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Inocencio Oinatz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind River tu grato nombre's goalkeeper Eulalio Francesco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liam Bray in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Francesco saved River tu grato nombre from getting behind. Liam Bray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Eulalio Francesco made a huge save. Pedro Augusto De Assis Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Israel Rosio made in the 64th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristo Hondo however managed to control. Cristo Hondo was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 66th minute, Cristo Hondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hilario Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Eulalio Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to River tu grato nombre getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. John Presley hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Bon Scott came free, but Inocencio Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. River tu grato nombre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Liam Bray scored to the left of an out of position Eulalio Francesco, making the score, 2-1. Nicolas Satordi kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Bon Scott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
