Sergey Nikiforenko took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pastor Frantzes. Pastor Frantzes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 13th minute of the match Sajones F.C. got a corner. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrad Airpoel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sajones F.C.'s Conrad Airpoel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gianluigi Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 21st minute Justino Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Frantzes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Kaxen, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Sajones F.C.'s Pastor Frantzes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Kaxen in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes in the game, Hugo Raitin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The supporters of Defensores del Tiki Tiki booed when Sajones F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mo Feng Xiang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sajones F.C.'s Roger Junior got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hugo Raitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gianluigi Buffon was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Hugo Raitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 played minutes Defensores del Tiki Tiki got a freekick which was hit by Justino Kaxen. 44 minutes into the match, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Raitin. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergey Nikiforenko was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes in the game, Justino Kaxen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pastor Frantzes having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Defensores del Tiki Tiki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Jerrald to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Sergey Nikiforenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes Defensores del Tiki Tiki got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Cantero. Justino Kaxen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Pastor Frantzes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Defensores del Tiki Tiki made a substitution. Hampus Nordström replaced Sergey Nikiforenko. The audience was convinced that Justino Kaxen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Frantzes was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. If Justino Kaxen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sajones F.C. made a substitution. Cesar Quinto replaced Eliseo Claude. Sajones F.C.'s Pastor Frantzes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Kaxen in the 80th minute of play. Hampus Nordström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Pastor Frantzes made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Kaxen in the 82nd minute of play forced Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Pastor Frantzes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Kaxen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Defensores del Tiki Tiki made a substitution. Fulgencio Ixaka replaced Jonas Cesaro. If Hugo Raitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Bruno Jerrald got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the Defensores del Tiki Tiki defense, Cesar Quinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gianluigi Buffon. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gianluigi Buffon should have stopped the shot. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sajones F.C. had won, even though Defensores del Tiki Tiki had held more of the ball.
