The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Xeneizes got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Veremundo. 16 minutes into the match, Xeneizes's Qi Xun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Roma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Qi Xun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Xeneizes were awarded a corner. Eusebiu Gârbovan went to the cornerflag to take it. 31 minutes into the match, Qi Xun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Roma. Saturno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Qi Xun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Qi Xun might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Roma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qi Xun ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Saturno's goal looked a bit too open when Qi Xun came free, but Antonio Roma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Saturno defense, Aaron Tiso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Roma. The Saturno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Roma should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Aaron Tiso suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Bernardo Ugaitz's late challenge caught a Xeneizes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Ugaitz helped the player get up and apologised. Xeneizes's Fulgencio Peru was substituted for Aaron Tiso. 45 minutes into the game, Qi Xun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Antonio Roma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apolo Lauaxeta to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Xeneizes's Qi Xun made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Roma was left in no man's land by his defense there! Qi Xun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anibal Veremundo made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eusebiu Gârbovan immediately put the ball in play. Marcelo Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Kaczeniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Apolo Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Qi Xun made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Roma. Saturno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Saturno's Gert Gronden was substituted for Emanuel Timo. Saturno made a substitution. Adolfo Quintana replaced Emanuel Meck. Marcelo Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Kaczeniak in the 81st minute of play. Marcelo Gagriel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Kaczeniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Igor Kaczeniak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Gagriel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The Saturno fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Xeneizes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
