Kristóf Somlyai scored 7-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilija Skugor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gábor Antal in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Bánk Madaras made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Dávid Radics took a quick shot and it went in 10-0 without a chance for Ilija Skugor to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toni Mauzer was the one to do the kick off.
