Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marciano Mundo kicked off to start the match. Chris Mergenthaler was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Adrian Dreifuss charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Dreifuss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to Stellenbosch's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Albin Holweck tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Baldomero Burutzagi seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. After having played for 24 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jeronimo Dantel. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flóki Cabezudo in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Gelmiro got free with Tommy Kahn in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Teobaldo Isias fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stellenbosch's protests and gave Teobaldo Isias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Stellenbosch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Isias to maneuver through the defense. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Marciano Mundo lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Tommy Kahn. 41 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Bertin. Marciano Mundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Stellenbosch's Marciano Mundo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Flóki Cabezudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Flóki Cabezudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stellenbosch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flóki Cabezudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Flóki Cabezudo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Stellenbosch's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baldomero Burutzagi quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Stellenbosch booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Beltran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Burutzagi having to interfere.
