After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Walmir Pombal got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Reko Nybacka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei Guang Xing in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Soares in the 7th minute of play forced MONTANHA's goalkeeper Jens Mikaelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Narbut in the 11th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Reko Nybacka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Narbut came free, but Reko Nybacka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Radomir Narbut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reko Nybacka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Wei Guang Xing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reko Nybacka was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in MONTANHA's zone, Carlos Alberto Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Mikaelsson came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wei Guang Xing might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reko Nybacka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wei Guang Xing ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute Wei Guang Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reko Nybacka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wei Guang Xing struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Reko Nybacka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MONTANHA. In the 89th minute, Catugi FC's Walmir Duarte seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Walmir Duarte the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Catugi FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Walmir Duarte had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Catugi FC! The crowd rose to their feet as Wei Guang Xing kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reko Nybacka. That made the score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. Wei Guang Xing struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Reko Nybacka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MONTANHA. MONTANHA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
