A collision led to TEIXEIRINHA FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Anderson Vaz hit a great ball. Grêmio Bulls were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after TEIXEIRINHA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastião Tróia took the corner. José Maria Ceresso charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Maria Ceresso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes TEIXEIRINHA FC got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Ceresso. With an all-out effort, Grêmio Bulls's Doni das Neves threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rowen Doherty, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Doni das Neves was a little too slow when Arne Stenquist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Stenquist came free, but Doni das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Arne Stenquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute Anderson Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TEIXEIRINHA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José Maria Ceresso in the 34th minute. The corner led TEIXEIRINHA FC's José Maria Ceresso to fire away a dangerous shot which Henrique Prata despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Bulls's zone, Anderson Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Prata came out of the goal and Anderson Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doni das Neves got control of the ball when Romulo Lehen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 48th minute, Rowen Doherty left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio Bulls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rowen Doherty was the one to do the kick off. Grêmio Bulls's Romulo Lehen suffered a sore thigh after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When João de Salles fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TEIXEIRINHA FC's protests and gave João de Salles a yellow card for diving instead. Grêmio Bulls made a substitution. Pedrão Prata replaced Romulo Lehen. 55 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Prata came free, but Doni das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrão Prata in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doni das Neves saved TEIXEIRINHA FC from getting behind. In the 58th minute Arne Stenquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Esteban Gentza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rowen Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doni das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Sena in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, TEIXEIRINHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Vaz to maneuver through the defense. TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doni das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sunday Skinas in the 71st minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Rowen Doherty had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni das Neves. TEIXEIRINHA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rowen Doherty was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Mauro Sena scored 5-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doni das Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Bulls from getting a goal against them.
