Luis León hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilmar Romero. Joris Scheer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Zarobski having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdir Cavalcante. Carsyn Grieves short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Armando Cerezo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carsyn Grieve did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Armando Cerezo 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

S.C.CHUÍ's Elder Donatello was substituted for Adalberto Soeiro. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joris Scheer was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Grêmio 20 Julho's goalkeeper Sylwester Zarobski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joris Scheer. S.C.CHUÍ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardinho Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sylwester Zarobski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joris Scheer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.C.CHUÍ were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
