Montevideo's Ronaldo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Paul Hattermann in the 3rd minute of play. Ronaldo Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Tronconi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Natanael de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markus Paul Hattermann shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Harold Tronconi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldo Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco got control of the ball when Bray McJon tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Francisco Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandão Recife in the 35th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper João Francisco Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grêmio RK75's Harold Tronconi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Paul Hattermann during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Markus Paul Hattermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kong Kun Bin's late challenge caught a Montevideo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kong Kun Bin helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 minutes, Mário Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montevideo and the Grêmio RK75 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grêmio RK75 booed when Montevideo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo's zone, Harold Tronconi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Medeiros came out of the goal and Harold Tronconi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Francisco Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeca de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Grêmio RK75's Markus Paul Hattermann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Laerte Lucas fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montevideo's protests and gave Laerte Lucas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Laerte Lucas hit a great ball. Ronaldo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Brasil in the 69th minute of the match. Kaká Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Ronaldo Medeiros made a huge save. Kong Kun Bin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Olavo Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldo Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Kaká Brasil sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Montevideo's Fernandão Recife got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ronaldo Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Tronconi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Francisco Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Montevideo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Grêmio RK75 for a fine match.
