Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Günalp Taştan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 5th match minute, Bitelon FC - SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bert Greenan to maneuver through the defense. Günalp Taştan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Risca Faca IMT's Vitinho Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bert Greenan in the 10th minute of play. After 13 minutes Bitelon FC - SAF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elmārs Bevalds who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elmārs Bevalds in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Günalp Taştan saved Bitelon FC - SAF from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Bert Greenan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Renato Prestes got free with Günalp Taştan in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the game, Nilton Passos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Günalp Taştan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dieguinho Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dieguinho Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute Elmārs Bevalds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günalp Taştan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elmārs Bevalds scored 3-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Günalp Taştan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Bitelon FC - SAF made a substitution. Paulo José de Moraes replaced Agnaldo Batista. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Azevedo made a kick off. In the 54th minute Leopoldo Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günalp Taştan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
