After a defensive mix-up in Bandelocos's zone, Aírton Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson do Vale came out of the goal and Aírton Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doni das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save TEIXEIRINHA FC from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, TEIXEIRINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Varela came free, but Doni das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doni das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Sobis in the 12th minute of the match. Nilson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Gentza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betão Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Doni das Neves made a huge save. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Vaz in the 17th minute of play. Anderson Vaz scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilson do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Gentza in the 22nd minute of play. After 28 minutes Bandelocos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anderson da Silva who took care of the corner kick. The corner led TEIXEIRINHA FC's Fred Finsberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Nilson do Vale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fred Finsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson do Vale having to interfere. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson da Silva in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes Bandelocos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anderson da Silva who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Anderson da Silva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale did a great save. With a little luck, TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doni das Neves got control of the ball when Rafael Sobis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doni das Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Sobis in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Luiz Guilherme Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doni das Neves got control of the ball when Daniel Brasil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Anderson Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half TEIXEIRINHA FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rafael Sobis kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Bandelocos from getting a goal against them. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Vaz in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Betão Quirino got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 93 minutes Bandelocos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anderson da Silva who took care of the corner kick. After 95 minutes, Aírton Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TEIXEIRINHA FC and the Bandelocos players grew even worse after the yellow card.
